Tanzania camping safari
The Tanzania camping safari is among the cheapest safaris to Tanzania. During the safari, you will be able to spend less because you will be sleeping in camping sites. Campsite accommodation is relatively cheaper compared to other accommodation options. On this safari, you will visit Serengeti National park. Serengeti National Park is among the popular national parks in Africa. The park is the oldest in Tanzania. There is so much to expect during the tour to the Serengeti. This safari is conducted by an experienced tour guide who has been to the Serengeti many times. You will always receive first-hand information regarding the different tourism features within the park.
We have excellent 4×4 safari cars that are equipped with an AC, charging system and a cooler or fridge. You will have the opportunity to charge your phone, camera, camcorder or any device during the game drive and this will give you a better chance to take the best photos. This wonderful tour is expected to start and end in Arusha. We assume that you are already in Arusha before the start of the tour however if that is not the case, we shall pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport to Arusha before the start of the trip
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti
Serengeti National park is about 380km away from Arusha. It practically takes around 8 hours to arrive in Serengeti. On this day, our drive will meet you at you pick up point and later, you will be driven to Serengeti. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will be offered meals at one of the lodges and after relaxation; you will drive to the park for game viewing.
In Serengeti, it is possible to witness many wildlife species. Some of the common species include the African big 5- lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Others to expect in Serengeti include the wildebeest, crocodiles, hippopotamus, zebra, cheetah, hyena ,elands, Topis, gazelles, warthogs, reedbuck, waterbuck, bushbuck, giraffes, cheetah and many more.
Serengeti is also renowned for the great wildebeest migration. If you happen to visit between March – July, it Is likely that you will witness the great wildebeest migration where millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra, Topis, gazelle are seen grazing from different regions around Serengeti until they cross over to Maasai Mara.
Watching the African sunset is another experience that you can’t forget during this tour. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to witness the African sunset and later, you will drive to the camp site where the camping tent will be prepared for you. Dinner will also be served
Day 2: Full day game viewing
Early in the morning, you shall depart the campsite to the park for a full day game drive. This wonderful game drive will expose various wildlife behaviors. Since it is a full day, you will have enough time to explore the different parts of the park. By evening, you will surely have remarkable experiences.
Day 3: Arusha- Serengeti
On this day, you will discuss with the tour guide to see some of the experiences or wildlife species that you have missed out on spotting. Later, you will drive to the park just to look out for some of the wildlife species that you would have missed throughout the entire Journey.
The drive will stop at lunch. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha to mark the end of this lovely Tanzania camping safari
