7 day safari Tanzania
The 7 day safari Tanzania is a long trip which will enable you visit Tanzania for 7 days. During this tour, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater. The safari will be conducted by an experienced and highly professional tour guide. Our tour guides have extensive knowledge in Tourism; they always help our clients to understand Tanzania.
There are many luxury and budge accommodation facilities in Tanzania. In Parks, some of the lodges are located in prime game viewing areas.
This safari is customizable. Should you want to customize the tour according to your plans; we shall do as per your travel desires.
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This wonderful safari is expected to start and end in Arusha however since some clients start their trips in different regions in Tanzania, we shall adjust to ensure that we fulfill the desires of our client. Should you want to be picked up from another region, we shall do as per your needs.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
This is the first day of this wonderful journey. Early in the morning you will be picked from the hotel such that you are driven to Tarangire National Park. The journey to Tarangire is likely to last for about 3 hours. Upon arrival, you will drive to the lodge, have breakfast, and later visit the park for an adventurous game viewing.
Tarangire National Park is known for a large herd of Elephants. Other wildlife species to expect in Tarangire include the lions, leopard, waterbuck, giraffe, impala, elands, cheetah, baboon, caracal, mongoose, monkeys, gazelles, wild dogs and many more.
The Tarangire River which flows through the park provides enough water to the park’s inhabitants. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Tarangire
Early in the morning, you will drive to the park for a full day game drive where you will witness various wildlife species and their respective behaviors. In Tarangire, it is possible to witness as many species as possible. The park is relatively big and you will have enough time to visit most of the areas within the park. In the evening, you return to the lodge with wildlife memories.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Early in the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The driving time from Tarangire National park to Lake Manyara National park is about 3 hours.
Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge, have breakfast and later visit the park with packed lunch for game viewing until evening hours. Lake Manyara national park is renowned for tree climbing lions. Other species to witness within the park include the lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, impalas, cheetah, giraffes, crocodiles, hippopotamus and many more.
The game drive will stop in the evening. After a marvelous sunset experience, you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro
Early in the morning, you will be driven to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you will visit the gate, loduare gate, where you will be allowed to access the park. You will ascend to the crater rim view area where you will witness marvelous views of the crater floor.
After wards, you will descend to the crater floor for an amazing game drive. The game drive at the crater floor is amazing; it enables you to witness various wildlife species.
In Ngorongoro, it is possible to spot the African big 5 – lions, elephant, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. Other species in Ngorongoro include the wildebeest, crocodiles, hippopotamus, zebra, elands, cheetah, gazelles, giraffes, hyena and many others.
Your delicious lunch will be served at the hippo pool picnic site. This amazing area enables you to have a tasty lunch while spotting hippos in the water hole. The game drive will continue until evening hours. Later, you will return to the crater rim and afterwards depart for the lodge where you will be served with delicious meals.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Serengeti
Early in the morning, you will be driven to Serengeti National Park. Along the way ,you will stop at the Oldupai gorge where you will hear from the local tour guides about this historical site. Remains of the early humans were discovered as the oldupai gorge.
You will continue to Serengeti. After arrival in Serengeti, you will check in your lodge, have dinner and afterwards, you will be driven to the park for an inspiring game drive. In Serengeti, you will witness as many wildlife species as possible.
The African big 5 reside in Serengeti. Other species within the park include the wildebeest, elands, Topis, gazelles, bushbuck, water buck, gazelles, giraffes, hyena, cheetah, crocodiles, hippopotamus, wild dogs and many more.
After watching the sunset, you will return to the lodge where you will be offered with excellent meals.
Day 6: Full day game drive
On this day, you will wake up early in the morning. After taking breakfast, you will be driven to the park for a full day game drive. Lunch shall be served along the way. Serengeti is a vast park that it requires time to fully explore. During this day, you will be in position to explore the park in detail. By evening hours, your mind will be full of various wildlife memories.
If you happen to visit around March- July, it is possible that you will witness the great wildebeest migration. The great wildebeest migration is the largest wild migration on earth which involves millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras ,elands, Topis and gazelles.
In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 7: Serengeti – Arusha
Early in the morning, you will be driven to the lodge where you will board the hot- air balloon such that you fly over the park.
This wonderful flight will enable you to witness various wildlife species. You will have an aerial view of the park’s inhabitants. Later, after landing, you will be served with a delicious bush breakfast. Afterwards, you will go for the last game drive until midday.
Later, you will drive back to the lodge have meals and directly drive to Arusha to mark the end of the 7 day Safari Tanzania. However there is always room to extend the tour for other destinations, should you want to visit other destination; we will make the desired preparations to fulfill your desires.
